ok, before i say anything, this is purely an idea. anything can, and probably will, be altered and improved. im sorry its a little long :)

ok... lets go

my idea involves getting into power as Prime Minister.

less than 50% of Brits voted in last year's election. 29 million people voted. the winning party recieved 10.7 million votes. there are an estimated 62 million people. 1/6th of them managed to get the conservatives in power. 98% of pensioners voted out of a sense of duty to their comrades who died on D-Day. that leaves the young people. their excuse was that, to them, all political parties are the same, a group of old, corrupt people talking a load of hot air.

of the parties you can vote for, hardly any of them really stand out. so, why not create a party that will. you only need 11 million votes to sway it... those can be taken from the 29 million that voted, and the 33 million that didnt. it should be easy to sway that many people into voting for you.

once in power, i aim to change everything quickly. we have Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) here. people get paid not to work. its lazy, and boring. there are few jobs, and those few jobs that are out there are taken by the family members of the employees. this is corruption.

so, quickly, lets take everyone of JSA, and put them onto points...

ok, you cant trade points, they are fully electronic, and are kept track of by the government. we give points to our unemployed population in exchange for working for the government. we actually are paying our farms to not produce so much, so why not let them produce as much as they can and then use our new found workforce to process it all into something usable?

now, the rest of Europe would look down on such a bold move, so, i suggest we pull out of Europe and rejoin the commonwealth. this will open up trade with 3rd world countries. countries that are starving. we sell our surplus food dirt cheap to them, and that would help relieve poverty a little.

the money generated off that would be used to buy some companies and employ our unemployed population more to working for those companies. because control of the companies shifted from people obsessed with expansion and growth of their money to a group of people who wish only to see humanity prosper, the goals of those companies would change. the labour would be free, and the supply would be constant. this generates free products.

there is no need for money when the products are free, and selling the surplus to 3rd world countries will help relieve their poverty. we can also use that money to import materials to make new products, thus using up our population of unemployed.

with a fully employed nation, it wont be long before everyone is working for a company owned by the government. every company would have probably pulled out of the UK, or been bought. this would allow people more choice in what they like doing now. this gives people more options. also, allowing flexible work hours, and earn while you work systems will allow people to enjoy life as they want it. keeping everywhere open 24/7 would be most productive, but that comes later.

eventually, the government will erect guilds to govern the different areas of work, and hand over the relevant companies to those guilds. once the guilds are instated, job trees will be made, and points will have a certain flavour, if you will.

points earned farming, cooking, milling, food processing... anything to do with growing and processing food will fall under agriculture, whereas points earned building, engineering, repairing, manual labour etc... will fall under design and construction.

quickly, people will amass points in certain areas of work. those with the most will become the guild leaders, the 9 under them will become his council. the guild leaders make up the in a city make up the city council. those leaders make up the county council, and their leaders make up the provincial council, who's leader... you get the idea... country, continent and finally world...

the job tree i talked about earlier... that works pretty neatly. you cant be a brain surgeon if you have no idea how. so first, you need to amass enough points to unlock that level of the tree, you must also do every job that branches to it. so, you need to put in so many hours of surgery, you need certain qualifications, as well as so many hours being a doctor, again, more learning, and so many hours being a nurse, and that needs qualifications. if you want to be a brain surgeon, you need to hit the books, study hard and start out at the bottom.

the points awarded for each job are based on a few things. mainly the job, whether it awards points per quota, or per hour. a doctor will be per hour, whereas a cook will be per quota. then, it all depends on how many doctors or cooks we have. if we only have 1 doctor... that doctor will be paid a premium to keep working. if we have a thousand cooks, their pay will be pretty low. the difference is, if a cook finishes his quota, and gets bored, he may decide to express himself. a wedding cake made for fun can be sold to the government for more points, this means there is some reward in expressing yourself.

slowly, as we offer this way to other countries, we will begin to rebuild the British Empire. those that refuse to join will be bought out. the world will be united in purpose, giving rise to a new age of peace and prosperity. the government that slowly eradicated all corruption within itself will retreat into the background with the introduction of civilian councils and will serve the queen as the guardians of law and order, posing as judges and advisers to the councils. they will run the world, but wont be living too comfortably.

they will be exempt from the rules, meaning that their food must be rationed to them, rather than earned. basic food will be presented to them. they will have small, sparse living quarters, and will live where they work. they will be the people responsible for aiding humanity and keeping peace. they will be peaceful and uncorrupted.

when the world settles, anyone can request to become a part of them, but they are not measured by the points they have earned, but by the deeds they have committed to help humanity. initiates will be given chances to prove themselves. successful candidates who have proven an honest and true love of humanity will be given a title and will be deployed to help the world as they best can. should they prove vital in helping humanity, they will be promoted as their deeds top their peers.

eventually, you reach the top, and that is the original prime minister, now the Queen's Council Chair. when (s)he dies, a new chair is elected. the council can also elect an opposition to the title, and nominate someone who's deeds outweigh the chair's. proven successful, the nominee will succeed and take the chair.

in all, this entire idea has its flaws, but, it has the potential to unite the world, and every human. ive often imagined a yearly paint-ball war, with the latest tech. an epic battle between every city, including every civilian who is willing to participate. every year, a world war, between cities at first, then counties, provinces, countries, then continents and then the world. the winners hold a parade through the streets of their cities, and host the challenges.

every city in the world will be there to show off their best. everyone will be putting their pride on show for the world to see. the worlds greatest at everything will gather to show off their skills and works. this promotes constructive rivalry, and stimulates social growth, the world over.
