what exactly is terrorist?

is it someone who's beliefs are different from yours? because thats what i think it boils down to.
defined by princeton, a terrorist is a radical who employs terror as a political weapon.
well what...person doesnt use a little bit of terror to push people, to get them to do the things you want them to do?
even motivation can be used as terror, because whats driving you is the terror of failing, ur motivated to reach ur potential and help others. so everyone can be viewed as a terrorist in some way.

in the future, i hope the word terrorist is abolished. Rather, they're someone who has been brought up the wrong way, they need to be helped. They have their way of thinking installed by people who have hatred in their hearts. brainwashing, if you will.

they've been told "go after the enemy, theyre the reason you're suffering. theyre the reason your family has been torn apart. they're the reason people have been killed, friends & loved ones, everyday. and the only way to get through to them is to use violence and then they'll see what they've done to us and it'll make things better. and if that doesnt work then you've died for your country, for this great cause, in honor."

so killing them...the "terrorist" isnt going to do much but add to their cause. talking will help solve a lot of things though. just having the patience to
take them aside, pull the threat out, and talk to them everyday will make a difference.
have the patience to explain the humane, peaceful way of dealing with the situations and helping them see all sides of the conflict will help solve a disagreement in the best possible way.

i dont think violence will solve much of anything.
patience will though.
and currently..no one has much of that.

my ideal human behavior? vast amounts of patience towards people.

  • You are so right Erika. I wish that we could always be aware of the conditions that create human behaviours. And I also believe that if everyone could develop patience, compassion and wisdom we will certainly be able to work towards a better planet. Thank you for your input.
